Wear & Gear information

At Deltaserat we don’t train without protection as bare-knuckle boxing is not one of the sports we teach.
Proper sports wear and gear are mandatory and we strongly advise to bring a towel and a bottle of water to fight off sweat and dehydration during training.

Mandatory gear

    • MOUTH GUARD

Wearing a mouth guard is essential for protection of your teeth during all sports taught at Deltaserat.

During kickboxing training, especially sparring, wearing gloves is essential. Gloves maximize safety during training for your partner and for yourself.
Men are to wear 14 oz. or 16 oz. gloves.

Though strikes can be simulated during MMA training, wearing MMA gloves will allow you to get the best out of each training and is therefore recommended.

    • SHIN GUARDS

Shin guards are worn mainly during kickboxing for the protection of both your own tibia and your partner’s body.

Optional gear

    • EAR PROTECTION

Ear protection can be a good investment for MMA fighters and grapplers who want to prevent the development of cauliflower ears.

    • KNEE PADS

Knee pads can be worn during MMA and grappling for the prevention of bruises and scratches to the knees.

    • ANKLE SUPPORT

Wear ankle wraps to minimize the risk of getting ankle sprains during training.
